Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush vineyards, our local wineries offer a delightful escape for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
This Marlborough winery and tasting room are nestled in amongst our vineyards in the heart of Sauvignon Blanc country just outside of the town of Renwick. At the entrance to Forrest stands a prominent stone wall built of the very stones that come from the surrounding area of the Wairau Valley. Beyond the wall the drive way winds through our oldest Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, over the small stone bridge and into a beautiful park setting, with slots of shady trees, a duck pond, picnic tables and bean bags.

Neal and Judy have been viticulture pioneers in Marlborough since 1978. The grapes from their vineyard were originally supplied to local wine companies, however they wanted to showcase the quality they had achieved in their vineyards through to the finished wine as well. This desire is what led to the establishment of Saint Clair Family Estate in 1994.
The property where this vineyard is located was first settled by the Sinclair family. Pioneer James Sinclair built one of the first homes in Blenheim, and was closely associated with the early development of the town. Over time, the name of the property reverted back to the original Saint Clair, which is where the Saint Clair name originated from.
Our mission is to create world-class wines that exceed our customers’ every expectation. Neal combines his extensive viticultural expertise, the unique mix of Marlborough’s climate and soils, and the talent of one of New Zealand’s leading winemaking teams to achieve this mission.

Let us welcome you to our family home and taste our wines. For more than 3 decades our family has been sharing our stories and wines with passionate enthusiasts and newbies alike. Our approach to wine is about generosity and laughter. We’d love to share our stories of trials and tribulations during our journey. We will taste at least 5 wines in our humble cellar door in the heart of the Wairau Valley. Afterwards, you’re welcome to pick your favourite wine and enjoy it on our lawn or garden surrounded by vineyards. Platters are also available.

With some of the oldest Riesling vines in Marlborough, we planted our first Wairau Valley vines back in 1981. And we’ve been making wine we love to drink ever since.
The Framingham Estate is accredited as an environmentally sustainable vineyard. This allows us to handcraft award-winning wines we love to drink.
Wairau River Cellar Door & Restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a complimentary tasting of our delicious wines and discover the Wairau River story, whilst leisurely sitting in comfort by the open fire during winter or outside on the sun-drenched lawn.
Allan Scott Family Winemakers celebrated their 21st vintage in 2010, and remains in family ownership with the whole family involved. Son Josh is winemaker, younger daughter Sara is the viticulturist, while elder daughter Victoria, is responsible for marketing.
The winery is surrounded by 80 hectares of premium vineyards and produces a full range of wines especially suited to Marlborough’s gravelly soil and sunny climate including Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Methode Traditionelle and Pinot Noir.
Their restaurant ‘Twelve Trees’ has become one of the region’s most popular lunchtime venues. Open every day, the menu is changed regularly, taking advantage of Marlborough's fresh seasonal produce.
WINES OF ORIGIN FROMM has pioneered a reputation for making distinctive wines that illustrate integrity, terroir and character. This quirky little place has been serving up the famous NZ green lip mussels for the last 20 years. Casual and informal. The restaurant specialises in green lip mussels but also has a variety of New Zealand seafood, burgers, pastas, gluten free and vegetarian options all perfectly matched with famous Marlborough & Nelson wines and New Zealand and local craft breweries beer. Produce is fresh and local using sustainable, free range and organic where possible.
The Watery Mouth Café operates from our light and spacious premises on the corner of High Street and Seymour Street, Blenheim – opposite picturesque Seymour Square. The café is open Wednesday to Sunday from 7.00am until 3.30pm and 8.00am to 3.00pm weekends. Closed some Public Holidays. We serve the bustling breakfast, lunch and coffee trade, and the café is a well-utilised space for meetings. We are fully licensed and also host private functions. The Watery Mouth Café is proud to offer you modern New Zealand cuisine, served alongside great coffee, tea and other hot beverages, or local Marlborough wine and craft beers.

The beauty of the Marlborough Sounds is best experienced from the water. This sea kayaking tour covers the western end of Queen Charlotte Sound. Tranquil waters and sheltered coves are home to a variety of seabirds as well as rays and sometimes dolphins. The half-day tour departs from the Picton waterfront.
